ABOUT YOUTHINVEST TRAINING COURSE

The aim of the YouthInvest training was to support youth workers’ knowledge and skills so that they can help young people develop financial literacy, using methods and practical activities suitable for youth.

During the training, youth workers were taught practical skills and activities that allow them to support young people in developing financial awareness and responsible financial behavior. Together with participants from the Czech Republic, Malta, and Estonia, games created within the project were carried out, so that these methodologies could later be applied in their work with young people.

The training also encouraged youth workers to evaluate their own financial knowledge and analyze their financial behavior, as well as to share experiences with colleagues from the Czech Republic and Malta, gaining new ideas and skills to apply in their work.

Participants had the opportunity to immediately apply what they had learned in practice by carrying out activities with young people. In turn, the young people provided direct feedback to the youth workers about what worked well and what still needed adjustment. This helped participants better understand their approach to youth and use what they had learned more effectively in the future.

We thank all participants for their inspiring and meaningful contribution! The experiences, activities, and discussions shared with youth workers from the Czech Republic, Malta, and Estonia enriched both our knowledge and perspectives. The energy and ideas created together will surely continue to contribute to supporting young people’s financial literacy and responsible financial behavior in the future.
